Theme Settings

BoostSecurity supports a Light and Dark theme to improve readability and comfort across different environments. You can switch themes at any time from Settings → Profile.

What changes when you switch themes

Changing the theme updates the BoostSecurity dashboard appearance, including:

  • Page background and surfaces (cards, tables, panels)
  • Text and icon contrast
  • Navigation and UI chrome (sidebars, headers, menus)

Theme selection is a display preference only — it does not affect scans, policies, findings, or integrations.

How to Change Your Theme

  1. Open the Settings page from the left navigation.

  2. Select Profile.

  3. Under Theme, choose Light or Dark.

    • Light: brighter background for well-lit environments
    • Dark: darker background to reduce glare and eye strain

  4. Your selection is applied immediately.

Tip

If you switch themes while working (e.g., viewing Policies, Findings, or PR comments), only the UI appearance changes — your workflow and configuration stay the same.
