Integrating BoostSecurity to Black Duck

BoostSecurity enables ingesting security results from existing Black Duck accounts. Once the connection is established, the Black Duck results are periodically ingested and processed through BoostSecurity workflow and policies.

Prerequisites

You need an access token with "Read access" permission created from your Black Duck account. Also, you will require a "Base URL" to access the Black Duck instance online.

Integration Steps

The connection with Black Duck can be set up simply through the Black Duck integration card:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page and select the "Black Duck Connector" card.

  2. Click on the Install button located at the top-right of the page.

  3. Provide the following details:
    • Base URL
    • Access Token
  4. Click on Install to complete the installation.
